10/04 Ryan has spent the past 3 summers working and living in Bar Harbor, Maine for Downeast Windjammer Cruises. This fall he decided that instead of coming home, he would go on a road trip and see the USA. He'll be stopping to see relatives along the way, and to work when he feels he needs to. This should be a wonderful and exciting adventure for him, but I already miss him. He may have lived away from home the past few summers, but he was only 30 - 40 minutes away, and I could see him easily.

01/27/05 Ryan has now been down the entire East Coast and is slowly making his way home again, with various stops to see friends. I might even see him in another month or so!

02/11/05 Ryan had made it home now, and will be staying with me until he goes back to work in Bar Harbor for the summer & fall.

11/01/06 And for his next adventure, Ryan will be working in Hawaii for the winter & spring - and maybe longer!

10/17/07 Ryan is finally home from Hawaii for a month or so, is thinking of going to California to work next.

05/13/09 Ryan is, for the moment, staying in Maine working, doing landscaping work, although he plans to do more traveling this winter.

With Lady, who came to us when Ryan was about 4. She was his constant companion throughout her life, and with his friend Armand.
